Question
I just got a Pinnacle quilting frame and a Janome 1600P deeper throated machine.  I have been practicing and was thinking what would happen if I quilted 2 pieces of fleece.  Have you tried that?  Would it stretch all out of proportion?  Would like to know if you have any experience with such an idea?

Answer
Hi LaRae,  Congratulations on your new set up.  I actually have no idea if quilting two pieces of fleece would work on the frame.  As you probably already know, keeping your layers at the same tension front to back and side to side is a challenge at best.  My advice is to try it on some fleece that you don't mind experimenting on and see how you do.

You might experiment with using a longer stitch which is what I do when putting two pieces of fleece together under the regular maching.

Pat
