Question
I have made 2 quilt tops but find myself getting fustrated with trying to sew the front to the back. I cant seem to get it completely flat. This for a queen size quilt. thank you for you help

Answer
HI Fay
With large quilts getting the 3 layers to behave can be troublesome.  Here is how I handle it.

I get about 300 safety pins, about 2 inches long.

I lay the backing on the floor,  smooth it out.
Next I place the batting on top of the backing,  center it.

Then I place the top on.  Using lots of safety pins, I pin all three layers together.

I use a Q-Snap 17 inch frame to do my quilting.  I do not have room for a large quilt frame.

I place my frame in one corner, work my quilting.  when done, I move the frame across the quilt, from side to side.

I have not had any problems doing it this way,  no backside puckers.  Just a nice quilt.

hope this helps.
