Question Hi Dean- I quit smoking 10mos ago after 25yrs and 2 packs a day. I was hoping to feel GREAT early on, but still suffer from lack of energy...is this part of the recovery and how long should it last?
Thanks Bob
Answer Hi Robert,
Congratulations for quitting. That is great.
10 months is a long time to feel lethargic, I'd say. Did you quit cold turkey or are you on medication? I would suggest seeing your doctor and getting a physical. Unfortunately that much smoking for that amount of time leaves considerable permanent damage to the lungs.
But for sure you ave done the right thing for your health.
I hope this helps,
Mike
