QuestionHi,
I'm only 14 years old, but have been smoking for the past 2 year's. I'm allowed to smoke which makes the matter worse because I can smoke more knowing I'm allowed. I smoke between 20-40 cigarettes a day. Because of my age they can't give me patches at the doctors etc. I am also pregnant, 6 weeks gone. I want to stop now before I do any more damange to myself or my baby. How can I stop though when my full family smokes, and I cant get offered any help from the local GP?
AnswerDear Kimberley,
Quitting is easy and it's important for you right now because of baby. As you read this email I hope you are not smoking if you are then that is your last cigarette. If you are not smoking then you can't light any more cigarettes from today.
And once you are done reading this email go visit
http://quitsmoking.about.com/
& I hope you will read that material there which will guide you that there is no complication as soon as you quit. Handle yourself for first three day which is today tomorrow and then day after tomorrow.
I want you to bring the scan of your baby or Ultrasound put it on table. Now put your pack of cigarettes on top of that ultrasound.
See that baby will be smoking all those cigarettes which you are smoking. How can you do this.
Regards
