Quitting Smoking/nicorette gum

Question
I am a 30 yr old female. I have been on the nicorette for about two years. I chew an average of 7-9 4mg pieces of gum a day, but for the last year I have been getting sick with a cold every three to six weeks and never seem to feel 100%. Can the gum possibly lower my immune system or have you heard of similar cases? I am extremely active and healthy otherwise.

Answer
Dear Joann,   About gum and immune system, It's the same nicotine instead of smoking you re stimulating and suppressing the hormones and your nervous system.

How about quitting gum for three months and see if it makes any difference ?

Join a health club or yoga center, or buy a yoga DVD or listen to meditation and do yoga yourself. Once you start the control of your mind you will be able to divert your attention from craving to anything else. It's real easy like a snap. Sounds easy right ?   It's easy.    Join any yoga center and once you will know you can control your thoughts you will be master of cravings.

And about immune system, do visit a physician who can write you some tests and check your hormonal changes and blood density etc.

regards
