Quotations - about inventions

Expert: Dan - 12/31/2002

Question
Dear Dan: I cannot recall where I read about a US.Patent Officer, back in the 1900īs - or earlier - who said that all inventions had already been invented, or almost. Could you please help me with the quotation and the author. Thank you so much, and a Happy 2003. Rolando Stein.

Answer
Sorry about the wait, yet I did hard research. I heard that quote before, yet I didn't know from where, so harder research found something that you may want to look at. Tell me if this is what you want. http://www.myoutbox.net/posass.htm

Happy New Year and sorry about that. Please ask follow ups.

"Everything that can be invented has been invented."
Charles H. Duell
Director of U.S. Patent Office, 1899
