About Nicholas Pemberton Expertise I have been an R.E.M. fan for at least 7 years now. I have all their LPs, over 30 singles, 7 videos, and 5 books, so I am sure that I can answer any question related to the music of REM itself. I also am sort of familiar with REM band bios, so I most likely can answer any question about a band member.

Question my dad heared a cover version sung by michael stipe of an old motowny style song sung by a female, he says tina turner but i dont think so, any ideas what he's talking about? or should i put him to sleep.
Answer Unless you can provide me a name of a song, I have no idea what song he may have heard. In the last 24 years, REM have covered so many songs, including "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", "I Got You Babe", and most recently "My Favourite Writer", "Out In The Country", and "Draggin' The Line". If you can get me the name of the song, I almost for certain can tell you if they have covered it or not and if it is available on an official release.
