Question
hi there, have bought a 2nd hand Tamiya Madcap with Acoms IC AS-11 Servo, when i first charged the battery and connected the car it went into straight into reverse then stopped after about 5 seconds. But now everytime i connect the battery it just goes into reverse until i disconnect the battery and there is also a burning smell. As I am new to RC cars I am unsure what to do but suspect some incorrect wiring maybe?? Any help would be great!!
Thanks

Answer
Hi Michael,

It sounds like a fried speed controller.  If possible, you should take it to your closest hobby shop for a more complete diagnosis.  If that is not possible, then let me know and I will try to help you out further.

Good Luck.

Matt
