Question
I am building a boat out of wood using 1/8'' plywood as a frame with a 25cc weedeater motor this will be a big v bottom boat at least 6' long 12'' wide what would be the best way to seal the boat im using thinner wood to cover the out side i have not started yet so if you for see a problem any and all help would not be turned down this is my first scratch build im just a little lost thank you for your time a knowledge

Hi Brad
Ok Do you have a design on paper to cut out the hull frames from --I do not recommend designing it your self as a first attempt!!!!!
Make the frames of 3/8 ply or solid timber ---something you can pin or screw to , the outer skin should be 1/8 ply and any longitudinal in solid timber again!!!!!
To make it water tight paint the in side of the hull with GRP RESIN
AND PAINT THE OUT SIDE WITH OIL BASED PAINT.
