I have been building and flying radio controlled model aircraft since 1960. I'm the president of the Electric Flyers Only, Inc., located in southeasten Michigan. I'm a past president of the National Electric Aircraft Council. I'm vice-president of the Midwest R/C Society. I was president and main founder of the UFO (Union Lake Flying Organization). I've built and flown most types of model aircraft except helicopters.

Question
I'd like to build a large fw190 electric powered rc model, from scratch. Is there any site,publication which could help me in designing the model...engine required ,airfoil/stabilityandlysis,rc setup, controller,receiver,servos etc. I'm a retired engineer,and would like to get into this activity.

I recommend that you visit a local RC flying field, become a member of the club, and learn to fly RC. It would be a good idea to build a kit or two, to learn the construction techniques required and to become familiar with the construction materials and tools.
