RC Model Airplanes/Cars/Boats - throttle lever

Expert: Ken Myers - 6/28/2009

Question
Hi
I have a Ripmax rmx 48 Aero engine on my trainer. Unfortunately the throttle lever broke so I want to ask if you know where I can buy a replacement or a similar part. I have tried one from the OS engine but it doesn´t fit.
thanks.

Answer
Hello Petur

Ripmax is a captive/rebranded brand sold by a UK company.  You'll probably have to contact them.

I did find that apparently the engine you have is a "relative" to the MDS brand.  Here's where I got that information.

I think you'll find your motor on this page of the UK Ripmax site.

Search the page for 48

If that is it, I would contact them directly and see if you can get the replacement part you need.

Good luck,
Ken
