Question Looking at this used rv, it is missing the grey water tank and has a patch on black water. How hard is it to replace these tanks and can you find parts for them now? Is it expensive? Where would I look to find an owners manual or repair manual? Thanks!
Answer Nancy
Thats going to be a problem. With the one tank missing, you'll have to make lots of measurements of the remaining tank area. Then with the help of your RV repair shop you can shop for a suitable replacement tank.
The other tank has a part number on it ,but it will need to come out to see it. I don't think not going to find a owners manual for that, and those things were never any good anyway.
Find a copy of "Trailer Life's RV Repair and Maintenance Manual"
it is a great resource.
