Question
I am having a problem with this model water heater on my camper. When we start it up it will not spark on its own even though the ignitor is new. We start it up and we use a bbq lighter to light it...it turns on for about 5 seconds then cuts off. What do you think could be the problem or what i can check to see if maybe something else is the problem...Thank you and i really appreciate your help..just email me back the answer to this email. Thanks again

Answer
Well I would wonder if you are getting the proper LP supply to the ignitor. When it is lit for those few seconds what kind of flame are you getting? is it really big? really small and wavy? are you seeing it spark to try and start? could it be bent and not sparking in the right area? sorry for all the questions but i want to try and help you but i need to know more info
