Question My husband and I are new to rving. We bought a camper 2005 Salem LE that did not come with an awning or window awnings. When I search for the awning (we mesured 20' from where the previous clips were) we don't get a price for a complete package and installation is said to be easy. My Husband is a carpenter by trade but neither of us have any experience with rvs. Where can we get a complete awning and installation package? Are window awnings necessary? Is there a certain brand to stay away from or one in particular that is good? What kind of pricing can we expect? We think dealer was not fairly priced.
Answer Well welcome to RVing, Umm no window awnings are not necessary but some people like them, as for the main awning, They are sometimes pricey. Where are you located?
