RV Repair - running lights not working

Expert: Eric Beck - 9/17/2009

Question
I have a 04 Fleetwood Flair MH that recently developed a problem with blowing fuses for the running/clearance lights. The head lights stay on but everything else goes out. I found a break in the line for the license plate light and fixed it. Lights stay on when the MH is stationary but as soon as I go down the road it will blow the fuse. Any ideas? Thanks!

Answer
you have another bad wire in there somewhere. keep looking. I mean think about what you just said, when the campers not moving its fine, but when it does move it blows a fuse. what happens when you drive a camper. It vibrates things move and two wire could touch each other that are not suppost to. I would try and find this problem soon because something like this will cause a fire.
