Question I hope you can put me out of my radiant misery... i am building a 934sf 3 story beach house in southern california and know just enough to be dangerous. I think the best soluition for a heat source is a takagi tk3 with a 40gal interdict hot water tank- OR a Combi Core water heater OR a Axia Combi Boiler OR a separate plain hot water heater for heat and a Takagi for domestic water. How will I know which is the BEST choice.. I live in San Diego so heat is not that critical, but it does get chilly 3 months out of the year. Can you help ???
Answer The answer is... CombiCor!
I love a simple, reliable and safe INTEGRATED heating system. It saves space, is quiet and more than enough for the average home.
Though the first series of combicors had their problems, the new Combi-Cor appears to be brilliant.
There is nothing wrong with the other products you mentioned but the Combi-Cor is it for this one.
Be sure to have a good design before you start and ask Bradford White for a certified contractor in your area (though they probably don't have one yet).
