Question I'm doing a report on words not to be used on the radio so what all words are you not allowed to use on the radio?
Answer The FCC has gotten real strict in the past few years. Although, I cannot spell out what words are suspect, I would recommend you try to get-ahold of George Carlin's "Seven dirty words" sketch. it will give you a good idea of what is not allowed. There are fewer restrictions when children are not listening, for instance aftter 10 pm, but your basic four-letter words are never allowed, such as the "F" word or the "sh" word, even if they are part of the song. That's why rap remixes are popular. Rather than bleep out a word, they use a mix with less-objectionable words.
