Dear Andreas,

I am a bachelor of music student and one of our current assignments is to research a band that has brought something out in the last 5 years.  We have to say how influential we think their music will be on music to come in the future for example like the beatles were.  We have to talk about new things they have created and why we think they will be influential.  Any assistance would be great.

Hello Kristy...

Radiohead has been very influencial on rock music for a long time. I personally think they're just as influencial as The Beatles were.
With The Bends and OK Computer I think they pointed rock musics direction for a while, and they also showed that music can be used as a serious artform. When OK Computer came out that was very much needed, with the whole braindead britpop thing going on.

Later Radiohead I think has shown a lot of people that there's a lot of great music in the underground, as a lot of the artists they get influenced by is from that field.
They've made a great impact on the music business and hopefully forever will. :-)
