Answer
Hello, Zafar.

I am not a physician, so am not qualified to diagnose or treat disease. However, I did find information online that may help you understand this disease and its treatment: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2387293/ This article says:

"Weight loss improves liver chemistries, steatosis, necroinflammatory changes and fibrosis. Furthermore, gradual weight reduction has been shown to lower insulin levels and improve quality of life. Weight loss may be achieved through diet and exercise or bariatric surgery."

Hope this helps,
Delia

I now have more than 30 years experience in diagnostic imaging. My specialty is MRI. I am also very familiar with CT and the way we used to take x-rays (everything's digital now)!

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology.
