Radiology/MRI image

Question
MRI
MRI
Just wondering if you feel this image indicates any issue with the pituitary gland and/or any sinus issues?  This was an MRI without contrast and this image was labeled Axial T2 FSE, if that is helpful.
Thanks!

Answer
Mary,
Unfortunately, this is image is not enough to say anything about the pituitary gland which would be slightly lower on the next one or two images.  This image only has one section of the ethmoid sinuses that don't show any inflammation buy i can't generalize this for all the sinuses.

Also, this appears to be an image from a standard brain MRI, if there are concerns for a pituitary gland then one would use a different set of images and parameters and would also do the MRI with and without contrast.

Hope this is helpful.
Michael
