Question
umm i was wondering if u could tell me the meaning of killing in the name of. and i was sorta wondering if maybe u could go into some detail if its possible. i have an asseessment due in 2 days on conflict and i had to pick a song and i thought it was a good one. inow i need the meaning. and now that i dont know it i was gunna change songs but the teacher wont let me !.
if u cant help me dont worry i'll just do something else to fix it like break a leg or something so i dont have to go to school.
Thanx

Answer
well i don't want you to go out and break your leg so i gues i can help you out, lol.......the song is basically about powerful leaders and heads of police departments are racist against black people..its also about the manipulation of the public by these leaders and networks to think and act in one spacfic manner to kind of justify what they are doing...and of coarse the ending part"fuck you i won't do what you tell me" is rebellion by the band as they stand up to it...hope you can get something out of this..good luck.......peace
