Subject: ceremonial railroad spike

Question
I found a gold-colored ceremonial railroad spike inscribed: Kennedy's Spike May 28 1962.

Do you know where this might have come from and whether or not it has any value?

Thank you!

Answer
I am sorry I dont know, I searched the interenet and could not find anything. I found that Kenedy innaugurated the New Orleans Terminal Dock RR on May 4th. It may also have to do  with the highway system and not with railroads.

Sorry I cant help.  Sorry for the delay - I was traveling.
