what all do you have to do to become a railroad enginer from start to finish  how many hrs do they allow you to work in a week an pay scale;;;;;;; im a over the road driver i can only work 70 hrs thenhave to take off 34 an then its back to work

Answer
Hello Kaydon... Well to become an engineer, you must first become a conductor, which requires schooling, and then if you want to move up, you go back to school, for your engineer qualification. I ussualy work around 55 hours a week, about the pay scale, well it depends on what kind of work that your have done, in that 55 hr period.

Thanks,
Mr. Mitchell
