In addition, i can answer questions about electrofunk that came from that era: Twilight 22, Newcleus, Egyptian Lover, Arabian Prince, Kyper,Cybotron, Reggie Griffin and Technofunk, Hashim. In addition to that my knowledge of 80s hip hop and r&b extends to the r&b/funk side with Cameo, Loose Ends, Lakeside, Gap Band, Sos band, and others.

Answer Frank, the song is 'stomp (move jump jack yo body)' by K-YZE. That one used to be so hot on dance floors. That house appeal mixed with hip hop lyrics was the 'in' thing in 1989-90. Great song, i'll have to add that to my retro sets one of these nights..
