QUESTION: hey, thankyou soo much.! it means alot. here are the questions and if you can get them answered before weekend finishes would be great other wise just as soon as possible. thankyou.!

Interview Questions:

1.   Is your job very stressful?

2.   On average, how many hours out of your actual work time do you practice a week?

3.   Are your working hours irregular? E.g. Night time and weekends.

4.   Do you get paid enough to ensure an adequate lifestyle? How much a year?

5.   Should I be doing all different styles of dance or just concentrate on Hip Hop?

6.   Did you need any formal qualifications to become a professional dancer, if so, what?

7.   What subjects would I need to study in high school/university?

8.   Do you know of any great dance schools that I could attend once finished yr 12?

9.   How many days a week do you work and what holidays do you recieve?

10.   What would you do on a normal day at work?

Thankyou.x!!

Answer
1. It is only usually stressful if you have several shows on the go at once but if there are fair breaks in between each show or rehearsal then there isn't much reason to get stressed!
2. Practice as in rehearse? Rehearsals are usually 3 - 5 times a week each for about 3-4 hours.
3. Yes working hours are usually irregular.
4. Yes pay is great but only if you have regular bookings otherwise its not.
5. Depends on what type of dancer you want to be but my advice would be to practice as many forms and take as many classes that push you as you can.
6. Not formal as such. I think experience and attitude is more important in this field.
7.Study whatever you like, if you want to study dance as well as practicing it in your free time then do so. It is also good to balance your life with maybe something other than dance but it is entirely dependant on your preference.
8. Are you British? If so,it depends what you want to study, what area in dance? If you are more specific I can help you.
9. It totally depends on the job you are booked for. You take your own holiday, by not accepting a job, or taking time out to not audition. Unless you are doing a trade shower a tour.
10. Meet up, introduce to the other dancers, rehearse, break and eat, rehearse, go home! SLEEP!
