Correction Leshaun was not in the video for this song...this made contorversey for L back in 96 when he didn't want the then pregant Leshaun in the video she sued for discrimintaion. Leshaun released the original which is titled "Wild thang" back in 1988(X-press/Warlock records) she then rapped under the alias Almond Joy along with her DJ Shortcut they were known as 2 Much, in which the opening lines to her classic birthed the hook for LL's hit...in the early 90's after a discrepancey with her name over the candy bar company she decided to use her birth name while hooking up with Queen Latifah's Flava Unit...a slightly different version of "Wild thang" was released again in 1993 as the b-side to Leshaun's single "Ready or not".

There was a female rapper who sampled grace jones before ll cool j did and her hook on her song was "doin it and doing it and doing well it felt so great and all so good he rock my body like a real man should."

Leshaun is correct, back in 88' she was the MC in a group, she went by Almond Joy back then, along with her Dj Short Cut, the group was called 2 Much. The song was Wild Thang

It was Called "Wild Thang" By 2Much. I been looking for it for years as well. All this time I thought the name was "Wild Thang!" Which is why I never could find it. Lol. It's available on Grooveshark.

I can identify songs, some samples, and will happily share any anecdotal information i have on hip hop. I am not as up to date on underground information, but I have mainstream on lock. Representing the movement - Diplomats, QB to all of NYC, anticon (grimace, haha), the south, the mtv generation, and a good selection of things in between.

I'm a DJ and a huge fan of hip hop, RnB, and some soul.
