Experience I have been in counselling for last seven years. I have been counseling adults,teenagers and children who are abused and raped in various situations.

Question When I was 11 I was raped by a 19 year old neighbor on two occasion once when I was visiting one of my friends who was forced to pull my pants down while the 19 year held my hands and then raped me. The second time happen with in a month while walking to the park I was grabbed in to the woods and forced to have sex with the same offender. I am now 45 years old and this is the first time I have every spoke of these events either verbally or written I have never told any one. It has effected my life a great deal. I have had only one relationship in my early late 2o's that lasted 1yr and one sexual enccounter that brought back the rape event over and over again. My question this normal and what can I do. I feel now that I have adopted my children 2 girls and 2 boys with in the last six yrs my fears and anxiety has incresed what can I do.
