Question
about a year ago one of my best friends got me drunk and had sex with me. my question is "if he knew i was to drunk to make the decision to have sex myself, is it considered date rape?" he didn't hurt me or anything but i recently found out he knew what he was doing.that it was premeditated... but i did say no or anything. and i hardly even remember anything. for the longest time i felt guilty for cheating on my then boyfriend, and the guilt has really broken me. please help me come to terms with this.

Answer
Yes, that is date rape. You said that you didn’t say no, how did you feel about having sex with him?  Drugs and alcohol alter your state and therefore it’s much easier to be taken advantage of, making it easier for attackers to fulfill their crimes.
Don’t feel guilty this was not your fault and don’t feel that just because you drank that you are somehow responsible.
Have you considered talking with someone locally that can help you work through what happened that night?

This wasn't your fault Chelsie.
I wish you the very best.
