Question i have a been raped by my boss at work several times over the past few years that i am starting to remember now. he continues to touch me when ever the chance arises he is getting much more carless about how hes goes about approaching me in the work place. he gets very aggressive when i say no, so now i get very passive and freeze up and do nothing to stop it i am very frightened of him because i know what he is capable of. i am now having a hard time sleeping and more memories of previous encounters with him keep popping up in my head. i do not know what to do. i thought it was only 4 times but there seem to be more indices than that. is it normal for these indices to be increasing? i am feeling like my head is going to explode with all these memories. i am un sure of what to do because i do not want this to get out i just want him to stop but i dont know how. if you have any ideas that could possibly help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
Answer Lisa, it sounds like you are still in danger. I understand that you may be afraid but you have to take control of your own life. I understand that fear and shame and humiliation of everything coming to light may be preventing you from coming forward right now, but Lisa, you need help.
You cannot wait any longer than absolutely necessary. So, my advice would be to go see your personal doctor, immediately. Tell them everything that you just wrote here. They can take care of your medical needs and get you to a therapist who can help you further.
Lisa, you have a lot of different options in front of you to get him to stop hurting you. But right now, we have got to get you some immediate help and some immediate resources. My advice would be to start with your doctor because he/she can be a protected source of information and guidance.
