Question My 17 year old daughter was rape what steps can i take to make her feel better should i take her for counseling what kind of doctors do i look for ?
Answer Yes, I would take her to a counselor -- either psychiatrist, licensed professional counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). One who specializes in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and rape/incest/sexual abuse.
