Rave/House/Techno Music - Looking for a title

Expert: Damien King - 5/2/2004

Question
I'am looking for a song title, but only thing is I can try to literaly explain the song. It starts with pure combination of 4-5 different drums in a prety complicated but nice sequence, then the bass bit enters and it plays all together, there are some pauses without beat at all just long notes (similar like pauses in Darude's Sandstorm). The genre could be techno , dance, trance or something similar (i can see the difference). The song is not older then a year I think. It is very danceable. One more thing, the solo drum sequence sounds like it is performed on accoustic drums of some kind (african or latin). Can you give some suggestion about title and performer? Thank you in advance.

Alex

Answer
Hi Alex,

that sure isn't easy to answer! I think the drum performance gives it away though... I'm quite sure you mean "Played A Live (The Bongo Song)" by Safri Duo. Search for it on Kazaa and see if it's the one you're after.

Best regards,

Damien
