Real Estate: Florida/Question on Listing

Question
Good day
With reference to listing a property for rent with a realtor, I had the following question:
1. What if after listing the property, I wanted to select another realtor to have the property listed with and not use the original realtor. How do I do this.

Answer
S. Mahabir:

Simple, fire the realtor.

Seriously, read your rental listing agreement and most likely it has a termination clause. Some termination clauses might have a fee.  If your listing agreement does not have a termination clause or you do not have a rental listing agreement then simply fire the agent.  Tell them you no longer would like their service.

I hope this helps.
