Subject: fraudlent transfer of minerals

Question
What are the steps to take if you suspect that your proprerty's minerals have been deeded to someone's trust ( by using your signature from another totally unrelated document) ? Is there a place where you can check for the existance of a trust (we have the name of trust) and any transfers into it?

Answer
Are you presuming that a fraud occurred? The illegal forgery of a document? Or are you concerned that a trustee might have overstepped their authority under the trust powers?

Forgery = law enforcement

Trust powers = state statute governs the rights of beneficiaries.
