Question
Hi; Might you be able to direct me to low cost ways to advertize my 'raw land'..?
I've got a couple of pieces to sell in North Carolina - one of which is available
now.
I'd seen a few possibilities in the past; but can't locate their links now.

Hi Mark,
I would advise you to contact a Realtor in the area of N. Carolina where the land is located. They are the local experts and will help you price the land to be competitive in the market as well as advertise the parcel and bring you Buyers, show the property, help with contracts and negotiating, recommend local experts for legal expertise, qualify your Buyers, and stay on top of things till the Sale closes. (They may even be able to refer you to someone who can evaluate the property for logging, if that is applicable to your parcel. You don't say how large or where your parcel is, but they may have connections with developers who could want it for new home sites. They will do all this for free. Realtors don't get paid till the property sells! You will have to give them a commission at closing, but it will be well worth it for the services they provide.
Keep in mind that land usually takes a while to sell and that the market has turned to a Buyers market, but I really think that a Realtor is your best bet. I don't work in N. Carolina, but I'd be happy to refer you to a great qualified agent if you would like. My phone # is 518-469-9000.
