About Scott Killian www.SaveWithScott.com
Expertise
Texas Residential Real Estate needs in Tarrant County and the Mid-Cities area. Questions should involve buying or selling a home. Do you have a question about how your home is being marketed? How it is in the MLS? How is the price? How is the competition? Buying a home, what do I need to do to get started? How do I get pre-approved? Can you show me houses? Do I specialize in your area? How many homes has my agent sold before? Questions along this line are good things to ask. If you have a deed question or legal question, these type of questions need to be addressed to a real estate lawyer. I would be happy to recommend one if you like by just giving me a call at 817-703-1165. Please visit www.SaveWithScott.com for more information about my company, Scott Real Estate

Subject: Sell of elder family member's home

Question
I have an uncle who is becoming increasingly dependent on others for care.  He was recently diagnosed with senility dementia and is often cofused.  In the near future it may be necessary to admit him to a nursing facility.  In order to pay for the specialized care, the only source of income aside from his Social Security check, would need to come from the sell of his home.  What would be the best way to go about selling his home?  He has no will.

Answer
Usually someone will have power of attorney for his affairs.  I would recommend having this done if there is still time.  You could contact Dan Foster office at 817-552-3940,ask for Gretchen Wright.  She could get your case to the lawyer, Dan Foster.  It may still be extremely simple to do and often with no fee if you tell them that I, (Scott Killian with Scott Real Estate) is going to be listing the house for sale.

Please call me to discuss further,

Scott Killian
