Real Estate: Texas/Intermediary


I'm placing a flat fee listing with a Realtor on a 4-plex that I have.  He asked me if I would give him permission to be an intermediary.  Should I let him?  I'm not sure what that means.  I know the word "intermediary" just not in RE terms.

In the initial meeting, the broker or salesperson should fully explain whom he or she will represent in the prospective transaction. If a broker proposes to represent each party as an intermediary, written consent from both buyer and seller must be given in order to act in that capacity. A licensee should provide you with the "Information About Brokerage Services" brochure.
