Question how long does it take to transfer real property deed, and if there is money ,do have to wait until the person receiving the popery have the deed transfer before any money is giving to the other people in the will. the will have been probate and the court have approved final settlement.
Answer Louise,
I am going to need some clarification on some of the facts before I can answer. Please answer the following questions for me:
1) It sounds as though the property involved was part of an estate in which the will has been probated. If this is correct, how long has it been since the court approved the probate?
2) You say there is money involved. Please explain this in more detail. Is the house being sold by the estate and then are the proceeds of the sale being distributed to one or more heirs, or is there some other type of transaction occurring?
The answers to these questions should allow me to give you a more complete answer.
