Real Estate: Wisconsin/Wisconsin vacation home location

Hi, we're thinking of renting a vacation home in Wisconsin but aren't sure of
the area that would be ideal for us.  We have one a family member who must
be within twenty minutes of a hospital at all times so that limits our choices
somewhat.  We want something that is waterfront, and near some decent
restaurants and  interesting cultural things to do on rainy days.  In the winter
we would want to avoid snowmobiles and hunting, but like skiing and fishing.
I know it's a tall order, but does anything come to mind? Thanks, Susan

Hi Susan....Wisconsin is a great place to vacation...waterfront and lots to do is easily found in the Dells Area, the Waukesha/Dodge County area or Door County. For a little smaller town atmosphere, the Lake Geneva area has many vacation options.  Not sure you will completely avoid snowmobiles and get skiing as resorts like to optimize appeal to as many different kinds of vacationers as possible. These are areas I would put into a search engine and evaluate the options. Good Luck !
