AboutGeorge Armstrong Expertise I can answer questions about the music, the artists, the instruments, vocal and recording techniques, and many other aspects. I'm not Ras Tafarian, but I understand the culture and I love the music. My key interests are Dub, female artists, the influence of blues, and titles that express love and family support.
Experience I've been playing lead guitar and studying music for over 40 years. I've never played in a Reggae band. However, I've been studying Reggae on and off since the 1970's. I spend about 1 or 2 hours a week studying Reggae and Dub.
Education/Credentials I've paid my dues in the dance pit at The Wild Hair And Singing Armadillo Frog Sanctuary. Aside from that, I have a degree in Computer Science, and post graduate studies.
A while ago i was watching tv and this reggae song came on. For some reason i just forgot to check the name and lyrics of the song and all i can remember is a video clip with a river and a boat in it. I've been spending all day now to find it and ive checked number of websites and downloaded like 50 songs that looked like the one i was looking for. So i figured id give it a shot and ask u if u had any idea what song it could be judged on the video?
Hopefully theres a possiblity for you to awnser this question. =) Thanks in advance.
ANSWER: Hi Jordy,
I suggest this is "One Love" by Bob Marley, you can get it on the Legends album. "One Love" is widely played by the Jamaican Tourist Board as their theme. If this isn't it, give me more information and I'll try again. I hope this helps! Regards, George

QUESTION: Thank you for your answer George but im afraid that is not the song i am looking for. I listen to alot of reggae songs so im quite familiar with the songs of Bob marley. I only wish i could remember some words or maybe even a more detailed description of the video. Lets hope something pops up later on,
Gr Jordy
ps: Thnx for the quick answer
Answer Hi Jordy,
Please let me know if you have any more information and I'll be happy to look for you. I can find many songs by using the Reggae Archives, and from my general knowledge of the artists. I had not been listening to Bob Marley recently, I've been heavy into Dennis Brown, and a few other Roots artists (Barrington Levy, etc.), but I just recently purchased "Legends", and I'm enjoying it. Thanks for the question! Regards, George
