Question Is there any chance that reiki will not cure a desease?I have seen that many reiki channels do reiki enthuasticaly in the begning but after some months or years they don't seem to be as enthuastic as they were earlier.It means they couldn't feel the benefits much.Also it takes 72 minutes for whole body reiki.It also seems to be much time taking for many as they do not get so much time.Patients of ankolising spondylitis, who are advised by doctors not to rest in one posture for long at a stretch, also don't find it convenient to take self reiki for 72 minutes.Any advice for them? Can a person,who is reiki 2 level himself and he has not practised reiki for long time, not even self reiki,though he practised regularly for 2-3 years in the begning,start with only 15 minutes of reiki[3 minutes on each chakras].

Of course Reiki may not cure, heal or help when it is given. There are many factors to illness and the reasons the human body manifests dis-ease as well as the free will of the human (patient/receiver) and what he wishes to experience while in his physical body.
I do not agree that because a practitioner is not enthusiastic about or no longer practices that he/she couldnt feel the benefits. Some never feel anything with Reiki, but they still are channels for these vibrations of energy and may even unknowingly bring that energy into all they do, making it available to all who need it. This would happen at a higher and less conscious level, but still can and does occur.
Yes, traditional Reiki is taught with hand position and a routine for administering, however it also can and is given with intent by the channeler/practitioner. Therefore, anything that your mind can imagine, can be done in regards to Reiki or any Universal healing energy. If you intent that someone on the other side of the earth is to receive a healing and imagine channeling and sending that energy to him/her, then it is done. Praying is a form of sending helping energies in this manner also.
Personally, I can feel the energy pass thru me when I send distance healings; some may feel it or some may not. You just have to have faith that your will and intent are manifested. In this manner I feel you can administer healings without such prolonged hand positions, but use more intent with sending the energy to where you desire it to go. Or use hand positions in a more comfortable position and intend the energy flow from there to where you desire. Or dont direct it at all and allow it to go where it is most needed.
How you decide to practice Reiki and Universal energy healing is only limited by your own mind (and the minds of your patients in receiving and allowing it to help them). Anything is possible. If you believe and have faith, It will BE!
