About Sandra Sparks
Expertise
I can answer questions on reincarnation, personal past life research, famous past lives, and alternative memory theories (otherwise known as: if it's not reincarnation, what is it?) I DO NOT DO PSYCHIC READINGS - there is no quick answer to who you may have been in a past lifetime. But I can help you find the ways to uncover the past life memories you have within.

Experience
I have written a workbook for past life recall called Going Past, which will be re-issued in an updated version in the near future. I run a discussion group called The Reincarnation Cafe, and a comprehensive website called The Reincarnation Compendium. I have just launched a youtube channel called Far Memory, http://www.youtube.com/farmemory which offers a selection of videos on past life recall.

Publications
I have new books coming out within the next few months on Amazon.com: "Psychic Sensibility," which is coming out in June 2009, and "The Waterhouse Witch," which is an account of my own past life discoveries. For other writing, you will find the most pertinent examples on the internet, at the Reincarnation Compendium: http://home.earthlink.net/~reincarnationcafe, and at The Chip Coffey Message Board, for which I am the moderator: http://chipcoffey.proboards45.com/

Education/Credentials
My work in reincarnation developed as I researched my own past lives, and discovered the best ways for conducting personal past life recall. I have been writing regards reincarnation and related matters since 1997, primarily on the internet.

Reincarnation - How soon is too soon?

Expert: Sandra Sparks - 1/16/2009

Question
Dear Sandra,

My teenage son is having quite a difficult time (and making it difficult for his family).  It has been suggested by a few people that the rage he is exhibiting may be left over from a past life (as this life certainly doesn't warrant it).  One person even suggests that he reincarnated too soon and hadn't properly processed his last life.

What constitutes too soon?  And how would this happen?  If souls set up their circumstances to maximize growth potential, why would the handicap of unprocessed rage be brought in?

Answer
Your son has a symptom of rage that needs to be dealt with - don't even look at a possible past life problem, deal with the symptom. We have had a number of rage issues in my own family, the and best solution we found was to get the enraged person to accept the rage as a problem that is as uncomfortable and damaging for him as it is for everyone around him, and that there are ways to channel that excessive rage energy into things that won't damage him or anyone else. I usually don't step away from my field of expertise and advise on something else, but I know what rage is like - he must and can get control of his own situation. The best way we have found is through cognitive therapy, having him learn what situations and conditions trigger his rage, and behavior modification - learning to react in a different way when the triggering conditions occur. Please talk to a counselor and ask about these therapies. They can help.

On reincarnating too soon - I don't believe there is such a thing. I have seen people still have huge issues over lives lived thousands of years ago. My strongest issues come from a life led four hundred years ago - my last life before this one was a fairly happy one, and I reincarnated within eight years. Some I have met who have recall of even quicker turnarounds seem fine. So I don't feel the length between lives will carry any more or less trauma than we are, as individuals, inclined to carry forward.

Let me know if you have any more questions...
