Reincarnation/past

QuestionQUESTION: Hi,
I was wondering if you could tell me if people,[right now], actually had a life before they,[we], became PEOPLE. And can those "past lives" can get into your dreams.
Thanks.
ANSWER: Hi, Nikki!
Do you mean before the race evolved into humans? Yes, I think some of those memories can come through to us. But I'm not sure if we would usually recognize them.
I have sometimes had short dreams of being in a "sea" of single cell animals, moving all around me. Is this memory or just a visit to the world of amoebas? I couldn't tell you. But I'm glad I've had a chance to have that point of view.
I think dreams are the greatest way we have of entering worlds we would not otherwise experience. If you have had dreams that made you feel you were looking into your own far past, I'd love to hear about them!
Let me know if you have any other questions...

QUESTION: Thanks you!
I haven't had a dream like that, but I would really REALLY love to though! I think dreams are wonderful too! Is it possible to be have been, lets say, a monkey, when your born, could you still have kept some of your looks from when you were a monkey? Oh, and what happens to you when your being born, when you in the before life? Do you die in the before life, so you can be born? Sorry for all these questions..I'm just really curious=]
ANSWER: Hey Nikki!
Some people make you wonder if they resemble a former animal self, don't they? ;) But I don't know the answer to that, or the answer to the second question - which is, surprisingly, the first time I have heard it, even though I think it's a reasonable question!
I have not heard from those I communicated with on the other side any description of another existence as material or physical as this one, so I don't know how difficult it is to pass from an energy based dimension, where we exist between lives, to a physical one. I do know our deaths are not as hard as illness is - it's physical living that is painful, not the death itself. I wish I could give you more of an answer, but that is an interesting question to think about...

I just have to ask one more question,
This isn't bootist is it? I'm not a bootist..sorry for all these questions.
AnswerThe word is spelled Buddhist... ;)
It is Buddhist, and Christian, and Jewish, and many other religions, if you are talking about reincarnation. Many Christians have not understood the parts of the Bible when the disciples ask Christ if he is a prophet that has returned - they believed in reincarnation. He didn't find their question strange when they asked it.Christ himself said "you must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven." He wasn't talking metaphorically.
When I first started learning about reincarnation, It was a nun who told me the one thing I have never forgotten. She said: "reincarnation is the only way I feel that God can be merciful and just at the same time." I agree. I think that actually might be the very definition of true heaven. We are always born again...
