Question I have never experienced or even thought about after life or the dead sending messages but i have over the last week had two strange things happen.I was just sitting watching the tv when the name 'wazi'came to my mind, now this is a name my grandad called me when i was a young girl,he died when i was 11 years old,i am now 37.I felt loved by my grandad when i was a little girl.A few days later i had the same happen when the name came into my mind, this time i was busy doing house chores,i went into my bedroom and there on the floor was a large beautiful butterfly and for some reason my grandad came to mind.I had no windows open for the butterfly to enter and the month is November which is not the season for butterflies and so this had led me to question if this was symbolic i any way and have you come across anything like this before?
Answer Dear Hazel,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
To answer your question, I haven't experienced anything like what you described, but I have heard that other people have done so.
Apparently, our loved ones on the other side may make use of nature or natural phenomena to send us visible messages or reminders of their love. I believe that this butterful was an expression of undying affection from your grandfather. For some reason or another you were in his thoughts and he made use of this means to let you know.
The imagery is beautiful. Butterflies are fragile but lovely. They are lighter than air. They lift our spirits.
I'd suggest that, in prayer and meditation, you send your love to your grandfather. Tell him you got his message, and thank him for his love and blessings.
Sincerely,
Richard Salva
