Question
I get a  blinking "P" error code. The paper has been "fanned" & is properly loaded.  Please help.

Answer
Harvey:
This is a very common problem. It sounds like the paper feed tire is worn smooth.Much like the tires on a car,the grip,or traction,is diminished as the tires get more miles on them.Unfortunately the replacing of the tires is not simple and should probably be left to an experienced tech who has done it before and has access to the part.To verify that this is probably the problem just push 'start' again instead of opening the copier and/or clearing the partially fed sheet and most of the time the paper will feed the second time the 'start' button is pushed.
Sorry I couldn't give you a quick fix but at least now you have a better idea of the cause of the flashing 'P'.
Sincerely,Don
