Question
I'm getting two black streaks 1/4 inch wide.  Probably from rollers.  How can I gain access to the inside where the rollers are?  Can the roller be cleaned or need to be replace?  Thanks

Answer
does this occur when you print... or does this occur when you copy...

if streaking occurs when you copy but not when you are printing then issue is dirty optics... clean slit glass... clean glass table... and any transparent plastics that sit above slit glass on adf...

if issue occurs when you print and when you copy... check the following...

check fuser for marks roughly in the location of the page onthe fuser...

if you can find the marks... fuser is bad.. if no marks check drum...

check the drum for marks roughly in the location of the page on the drum...

if you can find the marks drum is bad... if no marks let me know...

if unsure... where its happening but sure its not the optics...

then print 20 pages... and open the machine up as pages are coming out... pages should be stopped all through machine... pull out pages one by one... noting when pages where clear and then when mark starts... if mark starts after fuser then fuser is issue... if mark starts after drum then drum is the issue...

try those ideas and tell me how it goes...
