Question
I have recently changed the toner in our Canon PC-170 photo copier, but now when copies are made, they are blurry, and a dark shadow covers a little more than half of the page. I adjusted the settings to have the copier print both darker, and lighter, but this still has not made a difference.

I truly appreciate any help you are able to provide!

bad toner cartridge... take out cartidge and try and match up mark to cartridge...
take out toner cartridge take it outside... shake vigorously from side to side... smack it gently against your hand a couple of times... toner may fly everywhere this is why you are doing this outside...
clean up yourself and cartridge put it back in machine... do some copies or prints and see if any improvement...

if it improves... great solved... if not throw old toner cartridge in and test...

if improves then return new cartridge for refund... its defective...
