Question
hi,
recently got a bearded dragon for our science room at school. How big will he get and how much will he weigh, how often do I fed him and what size crickets should he be given

Answer
Up to two feet including the tail, maybe 2-3 lbs.  He should be fed every school day and very well on Friday if he's going to go all weekend w/o food.  If he is a baby I would not recommend him going w/o food for more than a day (if he's really small not even one day).  Crickets (any prey)should be small enough to fit between his eyes from tip to tip.  In other words if there is a 1/2 an inch between his eyes the prey should be no longer than 1/2 an inch.

Salad most be given as well as crickets and UVB (not uva) lighting AND heat lighting is VERY important.  If he's going to stay over the weekends set the lights up on a timer.
