Grimm
Hello! I have a four month old Knight Anole and I was wondering what it means when they wag their tail. I have found nothing on Knight Anoles and I would love to know whether it is aggressive or not.

Sincerely,

Cynara

Answer
Cynara,

What a cool little guy you have there. Grimm is a great name too. I wish I could tell you what tail wagging means for certain but I cannot. I'm not familiar with the behavioral gestures of anoles. In some other lizards tail whipping can be  either agressive, or fear based. In the picture Grimm looks healthy. I'm sorry I cannot be of more help.
