Reptiles/anole lizards

Question
We have had our anole lizards since the end of June, recently we've noticed them breeding. The first egg was all white and yellow, assuming its not fertile . The female has laid another egg, is it okay to leave the yellow egg in the tank?

Answer
Hello, yes it is OK to leave the egg in the vivarium, assuming there is an established thermal gradient and the vivarium has different places where she can lay, she would lay the egg in an adequate place. The incubation time of a normal healthy looking egg would likely be longer than those references found for eggs incubated artificially. There have been reports of diurnal lizards breaking eggs but this is rare.
