Question
My Grandmother used to put mothballs around her property and never had a rattle snake in her yard.  (Her neighbors did.)  Will this still be effective today?

Answer
Hey Glen,

it was more likely than not that your grandmother was lucky not having them, as there is no safe known repellant that works for snakes, moth balls and other chemicals have been tested and was found to have no effect in reppelling the snakes.one university just finished with some tests of there own and found the same results.you can snake proof your home if you want by romoving hiding spots(wood piles upside down wheel barrows excetra. and eliminating ground level holes or access to your home.

well i hope this was helpful, thanks for the ?
